Extraordinary measures in front of Supreme Electoral Board

Police dispersed the crowd by force.

Following the voting process in Turkey, extraordinary measures have been taken in front of the Supreme Electoral Board (YSK).

The crowd gathered in front of YSK in Ankara was attacked by police.

As counting procedures began, voters started gathering in front of the YSK building, soon after the closure of the polling stations.

Police threatened the people and ordered them to disperse. Iron barriers were quickly put up in front of the YSK and police reinforcement were called in high number.

CHP MPs are going to the YSK building while CHP MP Barış Yarkadaş said on his Twitter account: "We came, a group of deputies, and we are in front of the YSK ... Extraordinary measures are being implemented here... Only deputies and journalists are behind the wire. Ankara Mithatpaşa Street is closed with garbage trucks. What are they afraid of?"
