The brother of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan, Mehmet Öcalan, is going to Imralı prison island for a scheduled visit. 

Families of the other prisoners in the high security jail, Şeyhmus Poyraz and Cumali Karsu are also going to visit their relatives.

While families are allowed to visit their relatives, Öcalan's lawyers keep been denying permission to see their client. The last time they saw him was on 27 July 2011.
