Former FARC commander Jorge Iván Ramos (Mario Morales) was murdered in Santa Rosa, south of Bolívar, Colombia.
He is the 225th former FARC guerrilla to be killed since the signing of the peace agreement.
Mario Morales was a member of the national leadership of the FARC party and was responsible of the plan to replace illicit crops, as established by the Peace Agreement.
Morales was the commander of the Front 37 of the FARC-EP. He leaves two children under 10 orphans.
