FCK holds second congress in Germany

Kurdistan Communities Federation (FCK) held its second congress in the German city of Heilbronn with the participation of constituents of Bayer and Baden-Württemberg Kurdish institutions.
The congress began with a minute’s silence, which was followed by the election of the congress council and discussion of the annual working report.
Speaking at the congress, the Kurdish umbrella organisation in Germany, KON-MED co-chair Tahir Köçer said the following; “Our people living in Kurdistan are constantly massacred and tortured with the atrocities of the fascist Turkish state. We, the Kurds living in Germany, will take to the streets and expose the torture and deaths committed by the Turkish state in our geography.”
The speeches were followed by the election of the executive board, with Sait Öztürk and Sebahat Koç elected as the new co-chairs.
The congress was concluded with the performance of Heilbronn choir.
