Clashes continued between the YPG (People’s Protection Units) and ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham) gangs during the whole night in the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan which has been under attack by the ISIS gangs for a long time.

After the beginning of the urban warfare, the fiercest clashes occurred last night. It is reported that the clashes are intensifying, especially on the eastern and south eastern fronts following a counter attack launched by the YPG fighters against the ISIS terrorists.

There is no precise information regarding the results of the operation. It is expected that the YPG press and communication centre will issue a statement regarding the results of the operation within the coming hours.
