Fierce clashes in Tabqa where ISIS is nearing the end

Clashes are ongoing between Syrian Democratic Forces and ISIS in Tabqa town, a gate leading to ISIS' self proclaimed capital Raqqa city.

ISIS is nearing the end in Raqqa's Tabqa town which has been liberated largely by YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the fourth phase of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates to liberate northern Raqqa territory.

Heavy clashes are taking place between SDF and ISIS in Albu İsa, al-Heso and al-Salam neighborhoods and Sinaa area in the town.

During the fighting that continues since 01:00 last night, dozens of ISIS members have been killed and SDF fighters have seized three tanks of the gangs.

On the other hand, a mine planted by the gangs exploded and hit a vehicle carrying civilians who were heading to SDF areas after fleeing from an ISIS-occupied area. While the explosion has reportedly resulted in casualties, the exact number couldn't be verified immediately.
