YPG (People's Defense Units) has reported in a written statement that attack by ISIS gangs aiming to occupy the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava, continued for the 83rd day.

According to the statement, YPG/YPJ fighters are gaining further advantage over the ISIS gangs across Kobanê every day.

Short time battle raged out between YPG/YPJ units and ISIS groups on the southern and eastern fronts last night, while the number of casualties on ISIS side couldn't be made clear.

The statement said that YPG/YPJ fighters have carried out a series of offensives against the gang groups deployed in the village of Qadisiye Biçuk (Cididiye) to the south of Jazaa late Saturday. Two members of the gangs were killed and one other wounded in the attacks.

YPG/YPJ units targeted the ISIS groups in the same village in another offensive conducted last night, killing 2 gang members, wounding 4 others and destroying a vehicle of theirs.
