A fire broke out in Kilis in the area the Turkish soldiers who participated in the "Euphrates Shield" operation are temporarily based in. 10 soldiers have smoke poisoning, and the fire is spreading due to strong winds.

The fire broke out on the 15th kilometer of the Kilis-Antep road where the Turkish soldiers have a temporary base made out of shipping containers.

10 soldiers have smoke poisoning and reports say some military equipment detonated due to the fire.

The explosions were heard from Kilis city center while the fire spread due to strong winds despite several fire fighting units' attempts to put it out.

The roads have been closed in the vicinity of the fire.
