Following the arrival of the second unit of peshmerga in Kobanê, the first force of 150 peshmerga is on its way back to South Kurdistan.  

The second peshmerga force of 150 arrived yesterday to support the YPG/YPJ, and the first force then left Kobanê. This morning the peshmerga crossed at the Mürşitpınar border gate and went to the GAP airport in Urfa escorted by police armoured vehicles. The peshmerga are expect to board a plane to Hewlêr (Erbil) in the next few hours.

The first group of peshmerga arrived in Kobanê on 30 October to provide artillery back up to the resistance in the city to ISIS gang attacks.
