Footage from the 11th day of resistance in Amed
People and political representatives in Amed remain on the streets to reclaim their will.
The metropolitan municipalities of Amed (Diyarbakır), Mardin and Van were seized by the AKP regime on August 19 after the elected mayors were removed from office and trustees were appointed in their place.
People and deputies, administrators and members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) have been protesting against the illegal seizure of the municipalities for 11 days.
