Thousands of locals are being displaced due to ongoing clashes between the Baath regime and occupant Turkish army-affiliated gangs in and around the al-Xafisa town to the south of Manbij. Security of the displaced people who take shelter in Manbij is provided by fighters of the Manbij Military Council.
