Four people in Amed remanded in custody

Four out of five people taken into custody in Amed were arrested on the allegation of "being a member of an illegal organization".

As part of an investigation carried out by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an arrest warrant was issued for 5 people on 19 October.

Following raids made by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams to many addresses, A.Y., İ.A., M.K., V.S. and O.S. were taken into custody on different dates with the allegation of "being a member of an illegal organization".

A.Y, İ.A, M.K and O.S. whose procedures were completed in the Provincial Gendarmerie Command and were sent to the courthouse on Friday where remanded in custody while V.S. was released on condition of judicial control.
