Kurdistan Students Union (YXK) put up a banner in the Goethe University Frankfurt to draw attention to the October 9 plot.

Kurdish students put up a banner that reads “Free Abdullah Öcalan” over the entrance of the university.

Students from the YXK condemned the October 9, 1998 plot against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdistan freedom movement.

The students said the plot didn’t achieve its goal and added: “Leader Apo’s ideas spreading throughout the Middle East and the world has proven this fact.”
