At least 69 people have reportedly lost their lives in two separate attacks in the town of İdlib near the northern border of Syria.
The Lebanon TV Al Meyadin reported that Al-Qaeda's Syrian wing Al Nusra raided the Alevi village of İstebrak at Syria's border to Turkey and massacred 35 people. It is said that the Chechen gang group Muhacirun and Ve'l Ensar have also taken part in the mass killing in the Alevi village.
Various sources reporting from the region say that over 100 people have been massacred and many others were wounded, while the properties of the local people were also seized by the gang groups.
