A German delegation made up of lawyers, scientists, academics and human rights defenders is paying a 10-day visit to West and South Kurdistan to observe the developments after the increasing attacks and massacres committed by inhuman gangs now calling themselves the Islamic State.

The delegation, expected to stay in Rojava till 24 September, includes Prof. Norman Paech, IPPNW Representative Dr. Gisela Pentecker, lawyer Britta Eder, sociologist Martin Dolzer and FKE Executive Board Member Yilmaz Kaba.

During the visit, the German delegation will also make observations in South Kurdistan and have talks with the refugees who found shelter in Rojava after fleeing ISIS savagery.

The delegation will also meet with local political actors regarding the recent developments in West and South Kurdistan.
