Die Linke MP Ulla Jelpke called on the federal German government to “announce the Turkish shell companies and stop backing Turkish intelligence services”.
Die Linke MP Ulla Jelpke issued a statement on the article we published last week titled “MİT employs intelligence agents through shell companies in Germany” and called on the federal German government to “announce the Turkish shell companies and stop backing Turkish intelligence services”.
Documents of a shell company registered in Germany between 2011 and 2015 owned by the Turkish intelligence agency MİT were made public in the article published on the ANF last week titled “MİT employs intelligence agents through shell companies in Germany”.
The documents showed that the company “MTG GmbH” is a shell company founded only on paper to carry out intelligence activity, with MİT employees Muhammed Taha Gergerlioğlu and Göksel Güler who were detained by the German police on December 17, 2014 as partners.
“ACTUAL CENTERS OF MİT ARE NOT THE DİTİB BUT SHELL COMPANIES”
Federal Parliament member Ulla Jelpke inspected the 5 documents published by the ANF on the company Turkish intelligence founded in Bad Dürkheim with 25.000 Euro of capital, and pointed out that the MİT carried out their actual activities through shell companies. Die Linke MP Jelpke, one of the most prominent German politicians who monitor the AKP regime’s activities in Germany, she said the following:
“There is a perception in the German public that the DİTİB (Religious Affairs Turkish-Islamic Union) is carrying out intelligence activities for the Turkish state. DİTİB is only in activity against the Gülen group and they engage in Erdoğan propaganda in their mosques.
The Erdoğan regime doesn’t carry out its intelligence activities solely over the DİTİB, they have also created a network of espionage through a series of shell companies. These shell companies must be made public. This network of intelligence is in a position to commit any kinds of crimes. The Federal government should stop coddling these crimes and sever all ties with Turkish intelligence.”
