Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaþ and Gültan Kýþanak released a written statement about the detention of CHP Dersim MP Hüseyin Aygün by Peoples Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas.
The statement underlined that BDP disapproved the action and was ready to make any efforts to secure Aygüns release.
The statement added that the BDP is closely following the developments and government officials statements about the detention of deputy Aygün.
Unfortunately like in previous detention incidents the government is acting with recklessness, said the BDP statement which ended by confirming that the BDP is ready to provide any kind of humanitarian support to secure the safe release of deputy Aygün.
The Human Rights Association in Istanbul and the European Peace Council have issued a statement asking for the release of deputy Aygün.
