I wish the friends who are observing at the polling stations the best of luck. I call for even more vigilance than on 14 May. We must do our duty to protect our votes. May the election results bring equality and freedom to all people in Turkey.”
Akın: "The fight will continue"
Ibrahim Akın cast his vote in Izmir-Konak. He said after voting: "I hope that 28 May will be a day of freedom, peace and democracy in Turkey. In any case, we will continue to fight for equality, freedom and peace. Because there is no other way in the face of such hostile, divisive policies than to continue the struggle. I will continue to actively carry out this task both locally and in Parliament.”
