The Left in the European Parliament (GUE/NGL) has repeatedly condemned Turkey's illegal assault on Northern Syria. 

The GUE/NGL said the assault "is creating a humanitarian crisis for our Kurdish friends and allies."

In a statement the GUE/NGL said that in the Plenary next week will be calling for a European Parliament resolution that demand EU recognition for Rojava as well as arms embargo and the establishment of a no-fly zone.
