Güner Yanlıç from Hevsel Protection Platform detained in Amed

Güner Yanlıç, a member of the Hevsel Protection Platform, was detained in Amed after GBT (General Information Gathering) control.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued arrest warrants for 83 people, including Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former deputies, members of the Central Executive Board (MYK) and party’s executives under the so called "Kobanê operation".

20 politicians were detained, and 17 of them, including Ayla Akat Ata, Emine Ayna and Ayhan Bilgen, were remanded in custody.

Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA), Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and HDP promoted a joint declaration on Friday against the political genocide operations, at the Southeastern Journalists Association in Amed's Yenişehir district.

Hevsel Protection Platform member Güner Yanlıç was stopped, after he attended the conference, by the police in Batıkent Sites and detained after a General Information Gathering (GBT) control.

It was learned that Yanlıç, who was detained within the scope of the DTK investigation, was taken to the Diyarbakır TEM Branch.
