On Wednesday and Saturday, the Kurds in Hamburg are taking action to protest the isolation.
Kurds and their friends gathered in front of the HBF (central train station) to demand the end of isolation against Öcalan. The activists were carrying photos of HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven and the other hunger strikers.
During the march the activists chanted slogans demanding freedom for the Kurdish people’s leader and urging European institutions to act before is too late.
A new protest will be held on Saturday.
