Green Left Party Adana MP Tülay Hatimoğulları called on the people to vote on 28 May to put an end to the one-man regime.
Speaking to ANF, Green Left Party Adana MP Tülay Hatimoğulları said that there will be an election on May 28 where freedom and democracy will be voted on. Hatimoğulları said: “It is either democracy or fascism, freedom or tyranny. It will be such a clear choice for us. The regime continued this election campaign, the second round, with heavy disinformation. Without getting caught up in all this disinformation, all our people who did not vote on 28 May 28 should go and vote in this crucial election, knowing at least how important it is to get rid of this regime in order to open the doors of freedom, democracy and a democratic republic.”
Society wants change
Hatimoğulları continued: “Now people are behaving very openly. Society is very brave. Society wants change. There is a serious opinion of a very large part of society about the economic crisis, the demands of the Kurdish people, the demands of the Alevis, the demands of women, how this government has narrowed these living spaces and narrowed liberties. Since the first round is not over, we have prepared for the second round in the best possible way. It is very important that all those who went to the polls on 14 May go to the polls on Sunday. In addition, we need to succeed in bringing a very important part of those million voters who did not go to the polls. My impression is that the desire for change in society will definitely be reflected in the ballot box on 28 May.”
Hatimoğulları addressed the voters as follows: “Please go to the polls. Vote to get rid of the one-man regime. Your vote is very important and each vote will determine the fate of this country. Don't ask what my vote will change. To young people, I say: go to the polls and vote against the one-man regime so that you, your future and our beautiful land can breathe a sigh of relief. All our citizens who were affected by the earthquake, please find a way to go to the polls. There are contact numbers shared on social media regarding transportation. Please contact them. We have no choice but to get rid of this power. A vote can change a lot.”
