HBDH militias called on the people to join their united struggle against the system of exploitation.
HBDH (Peoples’ United Revolutionary Movement) militia released a statement and said they went out and celebrated 1 May in Istanbul, unfurling a banner “Long live 1 May, – Bijî Yek Gulan”.
The militia marched through the streets and called out to the people, saying the following:
“Streets are banned for workers and laborers not because of pandemic but because of the reign of the Palace. The government, which has not stopped production for months considering the benefit of patrons, is now imposing a curfew because of the May Day supposedly for ‘public health’. AKP is the government of war barons. Workers and laborers, we are not killed by the pandemic but by capitalism. Join our united struggle against this system of exploitation.”
