The Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Executive Committee called for growing struggle in cities, mountains, factories, schools, squares in its written statement issued to pay tribute to Deniz Gezmiş Yusuf Aslan and Hüseyin Inan on the anniversary of their execution.

The statement said: "6 May marks the heroically written manifesto of passionate revolutionaries. Those revolutionaries left a fire which is still alive 48 years on."

The statement added: "On the 48th anniversary of the 6 May immortality epic, we, the comrades of Deniz, Mahir, İbrahim, Mazlum, the fighters of the United Revolutionary Movement believe that it is possible to remember them only in this way, by putting forward the struggle to overthrow the fascist state and overthrow the capitalist bourgeois domination. With this consciousness and determination, we will lead the way they open to victory!"
