The Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Sinan Dersim Militia released a written statement providing information on an armed attack they carried out in Turkey. According to the statement, HBDH militia targeted an office of TÜGVA in Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul with an improvised explosive device at around 05:30 on April 21, 2022. After the action, the HBDH unit withdrew safely from the action area.
The HBDH statement released on Monday said the following:
“Our war on fascism, exploitation and colonialism has gained a new dimension. Our response to the latest Turkish assault in South Kurdistan launched on April 17 has been to turn all places into areas of revolutionary action. This war of fascism will not be restricted only to the guerrilla areas of the united revolution, as the working class and its struggle will also be the target of mounting attacks. Everyone is a mere spectator to this war, especially the labour, democracy and anti-fascist forces, should know that if fascism wins, they will be targeted by a much bloodier dictatorship.
The HBDH and its constituents will respond to this final battle of fascism through an even greater war. Our actions in the metropolises of Turkey in the last week give evidence of it. The language that fascism understands and the only way that will destroy it is the revolutionary war that we have being putting forward.
From now on, the opposition to fascism will either be a spectator to this war and wait for its own silent demise or join forces with an all-out war that we have started and become a part of victory against fascism. This is our call upon all those who want to do something against fascism: go into action and target the institutions and elements of fascism everywhere.
Just as the government and opposition are in alignment when it comes to attacking the Kurdish people, we must fight them without exception for the power of the workers and the oppressed peoples.
We warn prison guards who mistreat the revolutionary prisoners that are our honour in prisons, the prosecutors and bosses who humiliate workers who are forced to work as slaves for bread and butter, the subcontractors and uniformed gangs who barbarously attack mothers, women, youth and politicians in public; you will be mentioned only in the third page news for the things you have done so that the government stays in power. Because we will bring you all to account.”
