Police forces conducted raids on several houses in Gülsuyu neighborhood of Istanbul’s Maltepe district at 05:00 Friday morning.

Several people including members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) were taken into custody.

While the operation continues, names and number of the detainees couldn’t be clarified yet.
