HDP Co-chair Yüksekdağ stripped of parliament membership
HDP Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ has been stripped of parliament membership on the grounds of a final court verdict.
Turkey's Supreme Court has approved the prison sentence given for HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Co-chair and Van MP Figen Yüksekdağ.
HDP Co-chair was officially stripped of her membership to the Parliament of Turkey after the announcement of the verdict by Parliamentary Deputy Speaker Ayşenur Bahçekapılı at the General Assembly.
