The AKP regime's police has attacked the HDP election bureau in Ceylanpinar with tear gas and detained candidate Narin Gezgor.
The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) elections bureau on the former PTT Avenue in Ceylanpinar district of Urfa was attacked by the police during the opening ceremony.
The attack occurred as candidates Mehmet Ali Kahraman and Narin Gezgor wanted to march to the bureau together with party members.
The police cut off the crowd in front of the party building and didn't allow the march.
Then the crowd gathered in front of the election bureau in groups.
The police started attacking with tear gas as Candidate Narin Gezgor was speaking about the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Gezgor entered the bureau to protect herself from the tear gas the police fired and was detained.
