Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Kars candidates continued their election work by visiting local tradesmen and shopkeepers to discuss the category's problems.
HDP candidates Ayhan Bilgen, Arzu Moca and Bishar Abdi Alınak met the provincial directors of Kazım Paşa market and Cumhuriyet Square.
Candidates who visited the bazaars of Kazım Pasha were greeted by a large crowd and invited people to the rally to be held on Friday in Cumhuriyet Square where HDP co-chair, Pervin Buldan will make the main speech.
The candidates who handed out leaflets advertising the rally took the opportunity to talk with shopkeepers and tradesmen who told the problems they are facing.
HDP Kars candidate Ayhan Bilgen said: "We visited the shops on Tuesday, and they were empty. The crisis of the economy in this country is clear, as less and less customers go to shop. We know this situation will have an impact on vote. Shopkeepers in general told us that they want to see change, and for this they want to see the HDP overcome the threshold and enter Parliament".
Van
In Van, the election work continued with tours in all the various districts. In Çaldiran and Muradiye the HDP opened the party's election offices, while Çatak district organization went canvassing in Kıyıcak and Dalbastı villages.
HDP Van Province co-chair Yadisen Karabulak went to different villages to talk to people, accompanied by Ipekyolu Municipality co-chair Beritan Tayyah who have been forcibly replaced by an AKP-appointed supervisor.
Çaldiran
Van candidates and party members entered Çaldıran with a long car convoy and were met by a large crowd. The HDP candidates toured the center and talked to people. HDP Van Provincial Co-Chairman Umit Dede, HDP Van deputy candidates Tayip Temel, Bedia Özgökçe Ertan, Murat Sarısaç, Muazzez Orhan, Mukaddes Karakoç, Asuman Yelmazer, TJA activists, DTK representatives and people all took place to the meeting presenting the candidates.
Speaking after the presentation of the candidates, HDP Provincial co-chair, Ümit Dede, pointed out the importance of the 24 June election. "The AKP, - he said - has been in power for 16 years and has left the country in a terrible state. This country has turned into a real hell for many people and sectors of society".
