HDK (Peoples' Democratic Congress) Istanbul Provincial Assembly and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Istanbul provincial organization have released a statement in which they condemned the murder of Mehmet Reşit İşbilir and Veysel İşbilir who were killed by the police during a demonstration in Gever, Hakkari's Yüksekova district yesterday.

HDP and HDK said they will stage a demonstration outside Galatasaray High School in Istanbul today to protest against the murder by police of two Kurdish civilians.

The statement ended with a call for participation in the demo which will begin at 16:00 local time.
