HDP Istanbul MP Pervin Buldan has been taken into custody in her residence in Istanbul this morning as part of the ongoing operations against elected representatives and deputies of the Kurdish people in the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) and DBP (Democratic Regions' Party).
Buldan was later taken to Bakırköy Courthouse where she objected to her detention, saying that this was unlawful, and that she would not give her statement.
The court board later released Buldan, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, also a member of the İmralı Delegation that partook in the talks between the Turkish state and Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı Island Prison.
