Hearing of HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Siirt MP Besime Konca who is held in Kandıra Type F Closed Prison since her imprisonment in mid December, 2016 resumed at Batman 2nd Heavy Penal Court today. Konca did not attend the hearing while her lawyers were present.

The court ruled for Konca's release on condition of judicial control in two cases opened against her on alleged charges of “membership to a terrorist organization” and “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization”.

The next hearing was scheduled for May 31.
