Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Osmaniye Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the police conducted simultaneous operations on many house raids in the city center.

Following the searches, HDP Osmaniye Provincial co-chairs Kadriye Töre and Ali Coşkun and Provincial executives Celal Aydın and Mehmet Yıldırım were taken into custody.

While the reason for the operation could not be learned, those detained were taken to the Osmaniye Provincial Police Department.
