'AKP-MHP Deepens the Crisis'

The statement said: "The AKP-MHP alliance is one of the powers that use migrants and refugees to blackmail others and reduce refugees to bargaining chip".

This situation, added Ağaoğlu, "deepens political crises and causes much larger migration waves."

'Sensitivity and unity needed'

The HDP Migration and Refugee Commission Spokesperson issued the following call: "We call on the international public opinion to be sensitive to the dirty bargains and the military and interventionist policies of the governments that are the cause of critical problems such as mass migration, to act to end migration. As HDP, we invite democratic forces to a greater unity and solidarity against the war, racist, militarist and colonialist approaches that cause immigration."
