HDP sends out Cizre's "album of atrocity” to the world
HDP turned the photographs from the state terror in Cizre into an album and sent it out to various institutions around the world.
HDP turned the photographs from the state terror in Cizre into an album and sent it out to various institutions around the world.
The atrocities brought forth by the genocidal attacks that lasted 154 days in Şırnak’s Cizre district will be shown to the world. Traces of the atrocities will be displayed in an album of hundreds of photographs prepared by HDP. Human rights groups’ reports will be supporting these photographs.
A short film named “Cizre Tells the Story” was added to the album in a DVD. 1500 copies of the album were prepared and sent out to hundreds of local and international institutions. Some copies of the album were sent to the European Union Turkey Delegation and some will go to political parties, human rights groups and NGOs.

Half of the copies were sent to the following institutions and parties in Turkey: TMMOB, KESK, DİSK, Halkevleri, ÖDP, ESP, EMEP, SYKP, HAKPAR, KP, HTKP, YGSP, United June Movement, ÖSP, Azadi Movement, KADEP, PSAKD, Alevi-Bektashi Federation, Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Culture Association, Alevi Cultural Associations.
