The Higher Kurdish Council held its regular meeting on Wednesday 26 August 2012 evening in Dr. Noureddine Zaza hall - the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party office. According to the declarations of Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, spokesman of Higher Kurdish Council , the meeting emphasized on the need of Hawler Convention implementation and the formation of committees as soon as possible.

The Higher Kurdish Council which was recently formed has held several meetings and established its own committees, and started to act practically on the ground, in order to ensure Kurdish people in West Kurdistan to represent its political and social desire.
