Horrific death of three young Kurds
According to reports coming through three young Kurds were thrown off a cliff by Iranian soldiers, after being arrested on the border between Iranian Kurdistan Iraqi Kurdistan.
These young smugglers who traded at the border were arrested on February 6.
After seizing their goods, the soldiers killed 77 horses first and then tied the hands of three young men, before throwing them off a cliff near the village of Sahabettin, according to local sources.
The names of the three boys killed are Rizgar Kemal, 18, Mohammad Hossein Chavshin, 20, and his younger brother, 16 years old Hoshyar Mohammad Chavshin.
The bodies of the three boys were found by villagers at the bottom of the cliff.
These extrajudicial killings appear to be common practice along the border between Turkey and Iraq. According to local sources, Iranian border guards act as "death squads". At least 37 people were executed without trial by the Iranian military in 2012.
Smuggling is prohibited by law. It is a practice considered "illegal", and this apparently gives the regime's armed forces the right to kill people before the eyes of the world.
