Houses of Akdeniz Co-mayors raided
Police officers raided the houses of Akdeniz Co-Mayors Fazıl Türk and Yüksel Mutlu, who had been issued arrest warrants recently.
As part of the political genocide operations against Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), the houses of Akdeniz Co-mayors Fazıl Türk and Yüksel Mutlu were raided. Türk and Mutlu had been issued arrest warrants recently.
Türk and Mutlu were not arrested because they are out of town, and their relatives were informed about the arrest warrants.
Overall, 51 people were detained in Mersin, including İŞTAR Women’s Center psychologist Fahriye Cengiz and Akdeniz Municipality employee Aydın Özdemir.
