In a statement on most recent operations and clashes in Hakkari’s Þemdinli, Yüksekova and Çukurca districts, People’s Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM reported that 25 soldiers were killed in clashes in Kazan Valley on October 14.
HPG-BIM remarked that two guerrillas, whose identities are yet not clear, also lost their life in the mentioned clashes and noted that the Turkish army bombardment killed one woman and injured one other and damaged a number of vineyards and orchards of villagers in the region.
HPG stated that the operation of the Turkish army still continues in the areas of Tiyarê triangle, Pira Çeto, Suwara Benê, Helwesîs and Kepe Miriþka.
It was also noted that the areas of Þikefta Birîndara, Mahîr Mîrzo, Xeregol, Karker in Media Defense Areas have been shelled by Turkish military since October 13.
On the other hand, three soldiers were killed in guerrilla actions which targeted three military posts and bases in Çukurca on Tuesday evening, according to reports by Turkish sources.
The simultaneous actions by HPG guerrillas reportedly targeted Iþýklý, Karataþ and Gazitepe military posts and bases in Çukurca.
HPG hasn’t made any statement about the mentioned guerrilla actions in which, according to local sources, a number of Turkish soldiers were killed and injured.
