People's Defense Forces Press Centre HPG-BIM reported in a written statement that 5 gang members were killed and two vehicles belonging to them were destroyed in clashes in Kirkuk region yesterday.

HPG-BIM stated that clashes broke out after guerrilla forces immediately intervened the gang groups who were getting into action between the villages of Vahdê and Xalid in Daqok town of Kirkuk.

The statement added that fighting in the area continued from morning to early evening.
