HPG claims responsibility for attack on Ovacýk Prosecutor
People’s Defense Forces (HPG) claimed responsibility for the attack on the Public Prosecutor of Ovacýk (Dersim) on 19 September.
The statement by People’s Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM said that ; “Public Prosecutor Murat Uzun, who was known for his hostility and fascistic practices against the Kurdish people, was shot by our guerrillas for taking an active role in Turkish state’s law terror against Kurds”.
The public prosecutor who died soon after the attack was later revived by doctors on Wednesday but died at Elazýð Hospital on Thursday.
