HPG: Four Turkish soldiers killed in guerrilla actions

HPG reported Turkish army losses in the Black Sea region north of Turkey and in Bradost region in South Kurdistan territory.

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) released a statement informing about the recent actions carried out by guerrillas against the Turkish army.

The statement, according to which guerrillas hit Turkish soldiers in Turkey and South Kurdistan, is as follows;

“On July 1, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Özlüce area of Giresun's Güce district.

Our forces put under surveillance an operational unit of the enemy on July 6 and carried out an action targeting the enemy unit from two arms on the same day at 18:00. Three soldiers were killed and one soldier was wounded in the action. Many soldiers abandoned their positions and fled in this action, after which the occupying Turkish army carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area with armoured vehicles.

Within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign, on July 7, at 09.30, our forces carried out an assassination action against the occupying Turkish army positioned on Lêlîkan hill in the Bradost region of Sidakan within the territory of Southern Kurdistan. One enemy soldier was killed in this action.
