People’s Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM reported that AKP Sur former Mayor Hamit Çelikkanat has been released after the completion of his legal and administrative process.

A group of HPG guerrillas took Çelikkanat into custody in Diyarbakýr’s Dicle district on 22 August.
