DIK co-spokesperson Hüda Kaya commented on the ruling forces praying in front of the Kars Municipality they seized and said: "Prayers will not save the government."
Democratic Islam Congress (DIK) co-spokesperson Hüda Kaya reacted to the fact that Kars Governor Türker Öksüz, who was appointed as trustee upon the usurpation of Kars Municipality, prayed in front of the municipality.
Kaya said in a written statement: "Any Muslim who believes in Allah, follows the Prophet's path and takes the Qur'an as his/her guide and companion, knows and should know that lying, theft, usurpation and torture are crimes and sins. Those who seize the city and the will of the people by taking them into custody with false accusations and lies, appointing trustees, are deceiving people by justifying this using Allah’s name."
Hüda Kaya said that no prayer can save a government that preserves its existence by stealing, practicing injustice, lying, torturing, and added: "Prayer is the pillar of religion, truth and justice, not of a government that persecute people by deceiving them using Allah’s name."
