Hunger strike in Strasbourg on day 54

Members from Paris, Zurich and Saarbrucken Kurdish People’s Assemblies visited the hunger strike.

The indefinite non-alternating hunger strike launched by a group of 14 activists in Strasbourg on December 17, 2018 to protest the aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan continues on day 54.

The hunger strike was held in the Strasbourg Democratic Kurdish Society Center (DKTM) for 52 days, and it has since moved. The activists were looking for a new location due to increasing health issues and the small locale. The hunger strike will continue in the new offices at 273 Avenue de Colmar, 67100.

The new locale is easily accessible by public transport by the A Tram to Ilkirch-Graeffensteaden, at the Emile Matthis stop.

Kurds and allies continued to visit the hunger strikers yesterday as well. Members from Paris, Zurich and Saarbrucken Kurdish People’s Assemblies visited the hunger strike.
