Hunger striker Nasır Yağız's health worsening

Yağız, who can hardly stand up, said he has many problems sleeping. 

HDP Nasır Yağız has reached day 130 of his hunger strike demanding the end of isolation and his health problems have increased.

Nasır Yağız has spent 130 days on hunger strike demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. 

Yağız complains about suffering from head and eye pain and has difficulty in sleeping and standing. The activist said that the hope for success has given him strength and has underlined that he is sure success will be achieved. 

Yağız, whose condition got worse on 26 February when was taken to Par hospital, refused to receive treatment and resumed his resistance. 

The solidarity hunger strike carried out by activists at the HDP Representation office in South Kurdistan, meanwhile, has reached day 130 and is being carried out by the 65th group of activists.

Hunger strike in Maxmur 

Fadile Tok, Ishtar Council Coordination member, has reached the 70th day of her indefinite hunger strike at Maxmur refugee camp. 

Meanwhile the solidarity hunger strike has been taken over by the 35th group of activists and has reached day 105. 

Sulaymaniyah 

The solidarity hunger strike carried out at the Mesopotamian Workers' Association in Sulaymaniyah demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is continuing. 

The 54th group of activists has taken over the hunger strike. 

Herêm Mehmud, who is on indefinite hunger strike has reached day 35 of his fast while Şeyma Ednan is on her 28th day of her 1-month hunger strike.
