Images from the seventh day of resistance in Amed
The HDP-run municipalities of Amed, Van and Mardin were seized by the AKP-MHP government on 19 August. The decision immediately prompted the reaction of the people whose will was usurped.
Portests and demonstrations continued in Amed, Van and Mardin against the decision by the AKP-MHP government to appoint trustees and dismiss the freely and democratically elected legitimate HDP mayors.
The Kurdish people and all democratic forces continued to stay in the streets for the seventh consecutive day.
