Information tents for Öcalan in German cities

Kurds and their friends continue their actions for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Three-day information tent in Cologne, stand in Mainz to denounce isolation of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The three-day information tent put up in Cologne will end today. For two days, activists have been talking to people about the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The action has been promoted by the Democratic Kurdish Community Center in Cologne in Heumarkt. A banner writing "Freedom for Öcalan, status for Kurdistan" was opened at the tent.

Activists also informed passers by on the massacres carried out by the Turkish state in Kurdistan.

"We will continue to be in the streets until the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan is achieved and the massacres against the civilian population and the occupation attacks in Kurdistan end," said activists.

Kurds from Duisburg, Dortmund, Essen and Münster also joined the action which will end today after a march.

An information stand was opened on Thursday and Friday in the city of Mainz, Germany. Kurds from Gissen, Darmstadt and Frankfurt visited the two-day action organised by Viyan Women's Council.
