Commenting on Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan's call in the Newroz in Amed, Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Güler said that Öcalan used a peaceful language, adding; "We need time to see if words are followed by practice".

Asked about the statement he made yesterday which said that “opening Öcalan's banner constitutes a crime”, the Minister said that “legal authorities will do what is necessary”.
