International conspiracy against Öcalan protested in Sydney

The international conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan has been protested by the Kurds and their friends all around the world.

Democratic Kurdish Society Centre organised a demonstration in the Australian city of Sydney to protest against the international conspiracy that led to the capture of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 15, 1999.

Demonstrators set up a tent and opened a stand at the Cirqular Quay/Custom House Square and handed out leaflets informing about the conspiracy and isolation against the Kurdish leader.

Gule Roz and Brusk Aiveri who spoke on behalf of the organizing committee said; “The international conspiracy is an unlawfulness that targeted humanity in the person of Öcalan. The Kurdish people and movement have united around Öcalan.”

KNK (Kurdistan National Congress) Spokesperson İsmet Taştan condemned the conspiracy and called for solidarity with Leyla Güven who is on a hunger strike for over 100 days against the isolation regime executed on Öcalan.
